Dogs

Dogs and dog walkers are an integral part of the forest. But it is the responsibly of every dog walker to clean up after their dog as well as to keep their dog under control and to prevent humankinds' best friend from disturbing or harming the delicate flora and fauna of the forest.

* Dog poop is not a natural fertiliser. Dog food is dense and nutrient rich (unlike plant eaters’ food), and dog poop has excessive amounts of phosphorus and nitrogen, causing imbalances.

* Dog poop carries bacteria, viruses and other pathogens that may be harmful to the environment and humans.

* Stepping in dog poop really spoils your day.

* After rain the poop contaminates watercourses.
